The Best Natural Way to Keep Spiders Out of Your Home

There’s nothing like the scream of a homeowner who spots their first spider in the house. While spiders can be beneficial for controlling pests, most people would rather not have them around at all. There are plenty of natural deterrents for spiders you may utilize to keep them away from your home, such as plants and aromatic oils. How to make a spider-stay-away spray with only natural ingredients

• 5 to 7 drops of pure essential oil from peppermint, citrus, tea tree, or lavender
• liquid dish detergent
• warm water
• clean spraying bottle
• a dash of white vinegar (it’s optional)

Drip the drops of oil into the spraying bottle and fill the rest with warm water. Add the liquid detergent, put the top on, and shake it well for a few seconds.

Before start spraying, with a vacuum cleaner clean all the spider webs and any egg sacs that you can find. After finishing with this, spray around window frames, along door cracks, and in dark gloomy areas where spiders may be hiding. If you already add some white vinegar, be aware that it could affect some fabrics and some surfaces maybe.
