Anyway, you should not allow feelings of resentment and anger to take control over you. At first, you will probably have negative feelings about yourself, but after you become aware that you are not the guilty one, then you turn all the negative feelings towards those who hurt you.

When you finally accept the fact that people’s words and behavior towards you speak about them, not about you and your personality, you will feel more at peace. Usually, those who are victims themselves, tend to hurt others too.

Therefore, try your best to find out what personal experience in his/her life brought so much pain to him/her. When you know how they feel, it will be easier for you to forgive them.

It is also true that nobody has access to your heart unless you let them. This is not easy, but you need to learn how to protect your heart and whom you can trust.

After heartbreak, your life will never be the same again. But this doesn’t mean you have no control over your life. It is up to you to choose how this pain will affect you and your personality. Will you let it kill you or make you stronger?
