A Tiny Kitten Found In A Bush Grew Up Into A Beautiful Calico

One night, a woman heard a cry coming from outside. When she went out, she found a tiny, newborn kitten left in a bush. She waited for the mother of the kitten, but she never appeared.

Knowing that newborn kittens would have the best chance of surviving with a nursing mother, she decided to leave it there and wait for the mother to come back. The next morning the kitten continued to cry, but there was still no sign of the mother. The woman picked the kitten up and immediately looked for help.

She contacted Frédérique, an animal rescuer who took the kitten and transported it safely to Chatons Orphelins Montreal, a cat rescue.

They gave the kitten a bottle of milk and named it Carla. It was so hungry that it went straight to the bottle of milk when arrived. The kitten showed fighting abilities from the start. Even though her eyes were not open, Carla found the bottle of milk with her sense of smell. She was the size of a Q-tip. Even though she was tiny, her voice was strong and convincing. She perked up at night and sought food.

Every two hours, Carla received a bottle of milk. She wanted to be petted and to be near her foster mom. She knew her by her smell and touch. For a short period of time, Carla gained weight and strength. She is lively and active. She enjoys climbing furniture and sleeping under the cushions. Everybody in the cat rescue loves her.

Carla is not afraid of anything. She is curious, lively, and wants to observe things. Whenever she needs attention, she only rubs her face against people and meows. She enjoys spending time with humans before going to bed. After feeding, she rolls on her back and enjoys abdominal massages.

When her ears expanded, Carla started to develop her hearing. She is 10 weeks old now and has grown into a beautiful and brave calico.
