1. Baking soda 

Baking soda is a versatile product with many uses. You can use a baking soda solution to get rid of rust from your bathtub. Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with a cup of water and apply the mixture on the rusted surface. Let it stay for a few hours. Rub the stain with a brush and rinse with cold water. Also, baking soda works enamel, porcelain, and fiberglass bathtubs.  

     2. Table salt and lemon 

Apply table salt on the rusted surface and pour lemon juice. Let it stay for a few hours. Then, rub it with a brush or cloth. If the rust stain persists, repeat the process.  

    3. White vinegar 

White vinegar can be used to remove various types of stains, including rust stains. In a tiny bowl, dilute 1 cup of white vinegar with water. Apply the solution on the rusted surface. Make sure the stains are completely covered with the solution.  

Moreover, you can also dip a cloth in the solution and let it stay over the stains. After two hours, scrub and clean.  

     4. Tartar sauce and lemon 

A mixture of tartar sauce and lemon is another natural alternative to get rid of rust stains from your bathtub. Mix the ingredients and apply the mixture on the rusted surface. Let it stay for a few hours and rub it with a cloth or sponge.  

     5. Borax 

Mix a tablespoon of Borax with water and prepare a paste. Apply the paste on the stain and let it stay for half an hour. Rinse it with water and a soap solution. Also, you can use lemon juice instead of water.  

     6. Hydrogen peroxide 

Mix 2 parts of baking soda with 1 part hydrogen peroxide. Also, add a small amount of scouring powder. Clean the stains with a soap solution and apply the hydrogen paste. Let it stay for 1 – 2 hours. Scrub the rust stains with a sponge. Rinse with cold water.  

     7. Rubbing alcohol 

Mix 3 parts of water with 1 part of rubbing alcohol. Spray the mixture on the rust stains. Then, blot the mixture with a paper towel or rag. Repeat the process until the rust stains are eliminated.  

     8. Coca Cola 

Cola contains citric acid, which can break down rust. Pour Cola over the rust stains to saturate it. Let it stay for 24 hours and then scrub it with a scrubbing brush. Rinse with water.
